Poison Ivy, also known as Pamela Isley, is a prominent villain from DC Comics, known for her plant-based powers and eco-terrorism.

Her first appearance was in Batman #181 (June 1966). A botanist seduced and experimented on by Dr. Jason Woodrue, she developed an immunity to all toxins and the ability to control plant life.

Driven by her love for the environment and her misanthropic views on humanity, Poison Ivy often clashes with Batman, using her seductive charm and toxic touch to achieve her goals.

Often portrayed as an eco-terrorist, Poison Ivy sees herself as a protector of plant life against the destructive nature of humanity. Her character has evolved over time, sometimes even showing a more sympathetic side, particularly in her interactions with Harley Quinn.
